New research shows young people are suffering the most.
"Yeah I don't know anyone's number, my dad's is the only number I know, not even my mom’s just my dad’s," said Danielle Martin.
Like many of us, Martin has become dependent on her cellphone.
"I go to a sushi restaurant like every day, they know my order when I call in, and last night I ordered a bit more than I usually do so I didn't know the tip, so I gave her the receipt and said, ‘here fill that out,’ so no, I don't know tips," said Martin.
